The Indian Premier League (IPL), which is often said as one of the biggest T20 leagues in the world, has given many great players to Indian cricket. This includes players such as Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, and many more. Also, many greats of the game have featured in the league and have entertained the Indian crowd. This includes the likes of Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Andre Russell, DJ Bravo, Kieron Pollard, and many others.
During a discussion on Star Sports, the expert panel of veteran Pakistani pacer Wasim Akram, former Australian opener Matthew Hayden, former Australian cricketer Tom Moody, and former South African pacer Dale Steyn, picked up the all-rounders in the all-time incredible XI.

The experts had to pick between Hardik Pandya, Shane Watson, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kieron Pollard, Wasim Akram went with an out-of-the-box choice and picked West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell. Wasim mentioned his T20 record and heaped praise on his batting and bowling skills. Wasim mentioned that Russell comes out hard at the pitch and also bowls at a great pace. Wasim mentioned that Russell is also a great fielder the team needs a player a number seven who can hit a long ball.
Dale Steyn also echoed Wasim Akram’s words and picked Andre Russell along with Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Steyn heaped praise on Jadeja’s all-round skills and mentioned that he can bat anywhere in the batting order. Steyn also lauded his fielding and added that he is a brilliant left-arm spinner. Dale Steyn stated that Russell is a brilliant power hitter and also a great fielder.
Hardik Pandya turned out to be the favorite of Tom Moody. Moody mentioned that Hardik is a boundary hitter and can bat at number seven. Moody also added that Hardik can give his team valuable overs in the game at a decent pace.
Matthew Hayden also agreed with Tom Moody and picked Hardik Pandya as the best all-rounder in the incredible XI along with Ravindra Jadeja. Hayden mentioned that they both are great fielders and can bowl quality overs throughout the match.
The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League is all set to start on March 22 at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will be releasing the schedule of the tournament in different phases. BCCI will release the schedule of the first 15 days of the competition due to the general elections in India.
Chennai Super Kings, who are currently the reigning champions of the tournament will look forward to winning yet another IPL trophy whereas, Mumbai Indians, who are the joint most successful IPL team along with CSK, are also the favorites to lift the trophy. Gujarat Titans, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants cannot be kept aside and will be in contention to lift the trophy.
