Gale Ka Watt Lag Gaya Chilla Chilla Ke! Rohit Sharma’s Hilarious Outcry To His Team During Vizag Test

[ad_1]

Team India’s captain Rohit Sharma has become a hot topic on social media yet again with his choice of words. Rohit might not have contributed many runs for his team in the ongoing 5-match Test series against England on home soil, but the 36-year-old has been doing quite well with the tactical side of the game and he has been giving us good moments in the series.

In a 10-second video clip that is going viral across all social media platforms, Rohit Sharma can be heard getting frustrated by constantly shouting at his players to give instructions. The video is from day 4 at the ACA-VDCA stadium when England were 4 wickets down in their unsuccessful attempt of chasing down 399 runs to clinch the 2nd Test and double their lead over the hosts.

Before this clip went viral, there was another short footage from day 3 of the Vizag Test where Rohit Sharma was heard threatening his players for having a casual attitude before abusing them. At times it seems as if he is a far more aggressive captain than Virat Kohli, who is also very famous for using foul language on the field.

Watch Rohit Sharma Go Mad At His Players

In this video, Rohit Sharma was complaining to his players about his voice box deteriorating because of the continuous shouts of instruction on the field. “Mere gale ka watt laggaya hai chilla chillake tum sabko” (My throat has gone sore because of constantly shouting at you guys),” Rohit Sharma said on day 3.

For a fact, Rohit’s constant aggression while leading his side has been very entertaining for the viewers and it has served well for his team as well. The Indians refrained the English contingent from doubling their lead in the series with a dominant 106-run win over Ben Stokes’ Bazballing side.

The series is now on level terms at 1-1 and both the teams will now have to restart and rethink their planning-plotting in the remaining Test matches of the series. The Anthony De Mello Trophy series will now be heading from the Southern part to the Western region as Rajkot’s Saurashtra Cricket Ground is set to host the 3rd Test starting from 15th February.

India are expected to have their batting stalwart Virat Kohli coming into the squad after opting out of the first two Tests due to personal reasons. Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul who were out of the 2nd Test due to Hamstring and Quadriceps injury, are also in line for a return.

That might see a little bit of shuffle in the Indian batting order as Kohli will be directly taking up the number 4 slot which was occupied by KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer in his absence. The Rahul Dravid-led management might as well drop Iyer from the squad for the remaining Tests due to his poor run of form while Shubman Gill who was also experiencing a purple patch, is expected to retain his number 3 spot after the century he scored in the 3rd innings.

As for England, they have boarded their flights to Abu Dhabi for some time off cricket and spend valuable time with their families. Will that decision prove right? Time will tell.
