Fox Entertainment Global (FEG) is headed to the London TV Screenings with a new-look sales team.
Fox Entertainment’s worldwide content sales division has hired three senior execs, who will oversee distribution of in-house and third-party IP in most major territories.
Simona Argenti will serve as Senior Vice President, Content Sales, for the EMEA region, Nathalie Wogue will be Senior Vice President, Global Format Sales, and Roxanne Likely has been named Senior Director, Content Sales for the U.S. and Latin America.
They will join Jody Cipriano, Vice President, Sales, Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand; Andy Whiteman, Sales Consultant; and Brook Peters, Senior Vice President at Neshama Releasing, which oversees the distribution of FEG titles in Canada.
Argenti will be based alongside Smyth in London, while Wogue and Likely will operate out of FEG’s Los Angeles headquarters. They join FEG’s current sales executives Jody Cipriano, Vice President, Sales, Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, Andy Whiteman, Sales Consultant, and Brook Peters, Senior Vice President, Neshama Releasing, which oversees the distribution of FEG titles in Canada.
Argenti will be based alongside David Smyth, FEG’s Executive Vice President of Content Sales and Partnerships, while Wogue and Likely will operate out of FEG’s LA headquarters.
Argenti’s hire reunites her with Smyth, with both having spells at Beyond Rights. She was Head of Sales under Smyth following the merger of Beyond’s sales division with her former company, TCB Media Rights. In the gas between that role and this, she has worked at tech company Salesforce, helping clients such as the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 with their digital transformation strategies. She has also worked as a sales exec at BBC Studios.
Formats veteran Wogue has already been consulting for Fox. She was most recently International Format Strategist for Fox’s in-house unscripted studio Fox Alternative Entertainment, working on the studio’s International Unscripted Format Fund and developing such formats as Beat My Mini-Mes with France’sTF1), Marriage Market with Germany’s ProSieben), Celebrity Masterpiece with Thailand’s Workpoint) and The Big Deal with Ireland’s Virgin Media Television).
She has previously worked as a journalist, independent producer, Head of Development at Fremantle France, Global Vice President of Formats at IMG Entertainment, Chief International Officer at Endemol France and President of a joint venture between Endemol and Mark Burnett Productions.
Likely joins FEG from Paramount Global, where she has been Director, Content Acquisitions for the past three years. In that role, she’s been buying content for 15 Paramount-owned platforms and channels. She also spent nearly nine years at Miramax, originally in a worldwide strategy role and then sales.
“As FEG grows its portfolio of titles and formats worldwide, we now have our full senior leadership team in place to ensure that content reaches global buyers and audiences everywhere,” said Smyth. “Accomplished, strategic and respected, Simona, Nathalie and Roxanne are among the best executives in the business and join our sales operation alongside Jody, Andy and Brooke, creating an organization built on strong, proven relationships around the globe and a constant drive to create mutually beneficial, partner-focused opportunity.”
The execs join weeks before the London TV Screenings, where FEG is set to showcase shows such as music guessing series We Are Family, Beat My Mini-Mes and animated comedy Grimsburg.
