‘Fanboy’ Ravindra Jadeja poses in front of MS Dhoni’s home in Ranchi

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja on Tuesday (27th February) stole the limelight with his social media post. After winning the hearts of many with his performance in the recently concluded fourth Test against England, he made sure he won hearts off the field as well. 

Ravindra Jadeja played an instrumental role in India winning the fourth Test against England in Ranchi and clinching the series. The all-rounder although didn’t make a huge impact with the bat but he made sure he chips for his team with the ball. 

Ravindra Jadeja picked up four wickets in the first innings and helped India wrap up England’s innings on 353 runs. He bowled sensationally well and troubled the England batters. In the second innings, he picked one wicket and helped his team win the game to go 3-1 up in the series. 

After winning the game, Ravindra Jadeja made sure that he visited his Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni’s home. The all-rounder went to the keeper-batter’s place and posted the picture in front of his house, expressing his delight in meeting the former India skipper. 

He posted the picture on his Instagram account with the caption: “Fun to pose as a fan in front of the legend’s house.”

Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni share a great camaraderie between them. The duo often has been seen enjoying each other’s company. Not only on the field but the duo gell together well off the field. The all-rounder often posts pictures with keeper-batter and leaves no moment to cherish with him. 

Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni will be playing together in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 for the Chennai Super Kings. The duo together clinched the title for the team last year when the all-rounder hit the winning runs for the team in the final against Gujarat Titans. 

Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni will be crucial for Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming edition of the league as well. The duo will have to be at their best if the team needs to fancy their chances of defending their title and clinching the 6th Trophy. 

Ravindra Jadeja sets the stage on fire in England series 

Ravindra Jadeja has been nothing short of exceptional in the ongoing five-match series against England. He has contributed equally well with both bat and ball. His all-round heroics have been one of the main reasons why India clinched the series with one game to go. 

Ravindra Jadeja has amassed 217 runs with the bat in three games that he has played so far. The batter has hit one century and one half-century in the series as well. Apart from this, he is India’s leading wicket-taker with the ball as he has bagged 17 wickets.

Ravindra Jadeja will be next seen in action when India will take on England in the fifth Test in Dharamsala. The match between the teams will be played from 7th March. The all-rounder would be hoping to continue his form with bat and ball in the last game as well and guide his team to victory.
