A remarkable 221 million viewers tuned in to Zee’s linear TV channels and ZEE5 to watch the second season of ILT20. The 34-match league attracted a significant 46% female viewership, highlighting its broad appeal across India and emphasizing its entertainment value for families.

Immense Viewership Beyond the Geographical Borders:

In Season 2 of ILT20, Mumbai and Delhi emerged as crucial markets, drawing massive responses from populous regions like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. This highlighted the league’s influence across India’s diverse landscape. Notably, viewership from Punjab increased, contributing to a 22% rise in cumulative reach. ZEE’s strategy of introducing Punjabi commentary on social platforms played a vital role in this surge, aligning with their broadcasting partnership for the cricket league.

ZEE Entertainment’s deep distribution strategy ensured widespread accessibility in India and globally as ILT20 Season 2 matches were broadcasted through 10 popular linear TV channels and ZEE5. The league transcended geographical boundaries, reaching cricketing nations worldwide and establishing itself as the second most-watched T20 cricket league globally. This diverse viewership included 99 million women and 121 million youth, showcasing its broad appeal.

Stadiums buzzed with energy as full-capacity crowds, including passionate fans from distant places, immersed themselves in the thrilling atmosphere. ZEE’s extensive network and innovative strategies made ILT20 Season 2 a success, captivating audiences and firmly establishing its global standing in T20 cricket.
