To say I was excited to see flare legging outfits all over social media recently, is an understatement. Back when I was in high school, flared leggings were called yoga pants and I wore them constantly. I honestly can’t believe they have been so popular again. Flare leggings are super flattering and comfortable. They’re easy to dress up and even easier to dress down. Perfect for travel, hanging with the kiddos, lounging, and running errands.

The Aerie Real Me High Waisted Crossover Super Flare Legging
First, let’s talk actual leggings. I personally love my Aerie flares and wear them all the time. In the flare legging outfits below, I am wearing size medium in the regular length. They run TTS. I’m 5’5″ and normally a size 4 in jeans.
As a highly sensitive person, I will warn you these leggings are THIN but not see through. They’re the thinnest pair of legging I have but also super comfortable. I was able to wear these comfortably until I was 21 weeks pregnant last year. Now, 3 months post partum, these leggings still fit like a glove. I believe that speaks to the quality and stretchiness of the material. Even though they are thin, they wear, well from my personal experience.
If you want a thicker pair, I have heard great things about the Lululemon flare leggings.

This outfit is so comfy and can be dressed up with a structured bag. I love this look for school drop off and running errands.

It’s men’s and I sized up to a large so that I am able to have back coverage with leggings. It is also the softest tee I own.
