The Best Restaurants in Woodstock, VT
Sante
One of the newest editions to Woodstock’s dining scene is Sante, a farm-to-table establishment with small bites and entrees featuring seasonal, fresh and local fish, meats, poultry and produce. Their gourmet menu and beautifully crafted plates will leave you feeling both nourished and satisfied. A lovely ambiance for a date night, girls night or whatever the occasion! Worthy Kitchen
Worthy Kitchen is a favorite amongst both locals and tourists alike. You can expect a vibrant atmosphere, a great selection of craft, local beers on tap and all the comfort food your heart desires with a farm-to-kitchen twist. There is bar seating, as well as inside and outside dining options. Open Thursday & Friday 4-9pm and Saturday & Sunday 11:30am-9pm (closed Monday-Wednesday).
Au Comptoir
Au Comptoir is one of the hottest new spots in the village of Woodstock. A quaint village cocktail bar, it’s full of old world charm and cozy vibes. The space has been transformed into a beautiful Parisian inspired hideaway projecting jazz music out onto the streets and bringing joy and life to the village. Decorated with gorgeous chandeliers, sheepskins, golden accents and wooden beams– the style is simple yet, cozy, rustic and chic all at the same time.
Ransom Tavern
Located about 10 minutes outside of the Woodstock Village in South Woodstock, The Ransom Tavern is part of the beautiful historic Kedron Valley Inn. This newly renovated restaurant serves Neopolitan fare with an award-winning wine selection. Come enjoy dinner in their historic tavern and dining room or out on their deck and amongst the gorgeous gardens. This is one of my favorite places to dine al fresco during the summer months! Open Wednesday-Saturday 5-9pm.
Cloudland Farm
Another favorite in Pomfret, Vermont located just outside of Woodstock is Cloudland Farm. This unique farm-to-table experience is located on the Cloudland Farm itself and offers beautiful deck dining overlooking the gorgeous Green Mountains of Vermont. Take a scenic ride out of the village on Cloudland Road and enjoy a romantic evening amongst the rolling hills, eating the most fresh and local meal. Menu’s change daily based on seasonal offerings. Open Thursday through Saturday 5-10pm. Be sure to make your bookings a few weeks in advance as they often book out up to a month in advance.
The Prince & The Pauper
The Prince & The Pauper is located conveniently right in the village of Woodstock on Elm Street in a historic Bourdon Building. The Prince & The Pauper Restaurant includes three seating areas: a parlor overlooking Elm street, lounge with an antique wooden bar and main dining room with warm candlelight, white table clothes and beautiful wooden beams. The Prince & The Pauper is elegant yet relaxed and will make you feel right at home. Enjoy their global fare from a prix fixe menu, delicious cocktails and excellent selection of wine and beer.

Simon Pearce Restaurant is located at the Mill in Quechee, Vermont. This picturesque restaurant overlooks the gorgeous waterfall and scenic covered bridge. Enjoy delicious refined American fare in this beautiful restored 19th-century mill. Lincoln Inn and Restaurant at the Covered Bridge
A hidden gem just a few minutes outside of the Woodstock village, is the Lincoln Inn and Restaurant at the Covered Bridge. The Lincoln Inn was voted “10 Best Restaurants” by Forbes Magazine in 2016 for good reason. The 7 to 12 course menu, features fresh ingredients and expertly crafted wine lists, created by a Michelin-Star trained chef. Chef creates globally inspired dishes inspired by their work in top-notch restaurants in France, Italy and England.
Angkor Wat
If Asian fusion is what you’re after, then Angkor Wat is just what you need. This Cambodian and Thai infusion restaurant, is a community favorite with fresh ingredients, healthy flavors and a casual, laid back atmosphere. At Angkor Wat they use healthy, local ingredients and make all of their sauces and desserts in house. They don’t use oils to stir fry so you can guarantee a satisfying meal that doesn’t leave you feeling bogged down.
Mangalitsa
Run and operated by the same owners as Sante, Mangalitsa is another of our personal favorites in town. This small and intimate dining experience features small seasonal plates and farm-to-table fare. You can expect beautifully crafted small plates and entrees that reflect the current season and a unique beer, wine and cocktail menu to accompany your meal. You will want to be sure to make your reservations early here as they book up quickly. Currently closed for renovations until further notice.
