Happy birthday to all of Miami’s Leap Day babies! It’s finally time to celebrate your special day with a free Clevelander frozen cocktail and drinks for $2.29 in honor of the unique date.

Other foodie events this week include Sérêvène by Chef Pawan Pinisetti’s new “80:20” night, Caja Caliente’s taco Tuesday launch, and a happy hour event at Bal Harbour Shops this Saturday.

Sérêvène by Chef Pawan Pinisetti Launches “80:20 Night”

Start the week with Sérêvène’s new dinner menu. Every Monday night, 80 percent of the menu will be $20 or less, which is a great opportunity to have a high-quality meal without breaking the bank. Featured dishes include the Ora king salmon sashimi, quail egg ghee roast, lamb chops, lobster and prawn spring rolls, eggplant maki, pommes de terre, and foie gras and donettes. New Taco Tuesday at Caja Caliente

Helmed by chef Monica “Mika” Leon, Caja Caliente has launched its new Taco Tuesday and a revamped menu. The restaurant became widely known in Miami for its Cuban tacos. For those yet to taste them, next week’s Taco Tuesday is the perfect opportunity to try them with its $3 tacos, $4 beers, and $6 margaritas all day. There are also new menu items, including the “Caja Cubana,” a classic Cuban sandwich, and the Cuban cochinita pibil, Mika’s Cuban take on the Mexican classic served with white rice, beans, and tostones. QP Tapas is hosting a pre-launch wine pairing dinner on Wednesday, February 28, to celebrate its newest pop-up. Miami’s beloved pop-up is officially coming to Mayfair’s Fountain Lou,nge where chef Joshua Elliott has crafted a menu of tapas paired perfectly with a selection of exceptional wines from Janzen Wines by Kyle Janzen, which is a boutique winery located in the Napa Valley region of California. Available wines include the Lucie 2022 Sun Chase Vineyard Chardonnay and Bacio Divino 2021 Pazzo Call Me Crazy. 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, at 3000 Florida Ave., Miami; Tickets cost $115 per person via eventbrite.com.

Clevelander Celebrates Leap Day on Thursday, February 29

Leap Day babies, happy birthday week! To celebrate the unique date, the Clevelander is gifting all Leapers one of its frozen daiquiris like the “Miami Vice,” the “Frozen Frose,” which features Red Bull watermelon, and “Caribbean Punch” with Mango Chile Bacardi.
