Patrick Ta Blush Review
[ad_1]
I share a lot of makeup finds on my Instagram and here on the blog, but if I had to choose one product that I’ve been majorly obsessed with lately, it would be the Patrick Ta blush. I know many of you feel the same way, but for those who haven’t tried it yet, I wanted to share a full review on the highly coveted product here.
Makeup products are so personalized—what one person loves, another might not be a fan of. However, from my experience sharing this blush, I’ve found that it’s universally liked. In fact, many of my favorite makeup products come from Patrick Ta, so overall, the brand is a good go-to.
While there are several makeup finds that I reach for on an everyday basis, blush is one that offers such a pretty and classic look. Blush gives your complexion a pop of color, while leaving it with a healthy and youthful glow. The key is to find the right color for your skin type, but any good blush should be buildable enough to complement you.
Here, I’m sharing my honest Patrick Ta blush review—I’d be shocked if you didn’t want to test it out yourself after reading more!
Patrick Ta Blush Review
Is the Patrick Ta Blush Worth It?
First things first, I will preface this by saying that one of my go-to blush products is this one by Gucci (read my full review on it here.) However, since the first time I tried the Patrick Ta Blush, I’ve been equally as hooked on it. Swapping between the two options has given me the perfect balance in my makeup routine (and made each palette last longer, which is an obvious perk!)
One of the main reasons the Patrick Ta Major Headlines Blush is so great is that it’s super pigmented, meaning you don’t have to use much to get a pretty look. I also appreciate that even though it’s packed with color, it’s easy to build on your skin so you don’t look too bright or colorful. You’re really in control when it comes to the application, making it a good choice if you’re a beginner with makeup.
Additionally, I adore this blush because it’s sooooo long-wearing. I have gone through many other blush palettes in the past, and while they might offer gorgeous color, it doesn’t last. The Patrick Ta Blush will stay put on your skin all day—no re-applying needed.
How to Apply the Patrick Ta Blush
Applying blush is a fairly straight forward process, but if you need a refresher, here are the basic steps:
– For a sheer look, dab and blend the cream formula on cheeks.
– For a soft, airbrushed finish, sweep the powder onto the apples of the cheeks with a fluffy brush.
p.s. If you’re on the search for a good blush brush, I love this one by Patrick Ta!
Patrick Ta Blush Price
Price point is obviously a big consideration when choosing products to add to your makeup bag. Luckily, I feel that this blush is a fair price point, especially when you compare it to some of its competitors. At $38 a palette (for two tones), I think this product is totally reasonable, and like I said, it lasts a long time so you don’t need to restock this very often.
Patrick Ta Blush Swatches
Another thing people love about this blush is that it’s offered in so many colors options. Many blushes on the market just come in two or three shades, but the Patrick Ta blush is available in 12(!!) swatches. I love how inclusive this product is, and I appreciate that you can test out different colors depending on the look you’re going for.
If you’re undecided on which color to go with, my favorite shade is “She’s Blushing.” Also, reading the reviews on Sephora is a great way to figure out which shade would be best for you—many people share photos and describe their skin tone.
Patrick Ta Blush Before and After
I know that seeing a product on someone can be the most helpful when it comes to reviews. Below, you’ll see a photo of my skin without the blush (left) as well as with it (right.)
You can definitely tell that there’s a difference, but it still looks natural and warm.
Patrick Ta Blush Ingredients
This blush is certainly not the “cleanest” product out there, but I will say that the brand seems to be conscientious about formulating their makeup with some better choice ingredients. For example, the blush is free of sulfates, parabens, formaldehydes, and phthalates.
